Back to School - Dress for Success

Back to School - Dress for Success

Hello friends,

I always have mixed emotions when it comes to back to school. I'm sad to leave summer behind, and especially sad this year to see one of my babies off to college, but I also recognize it as a time for growth and new opportunities.

What are you going to challenge yourself to accomplish this school year? Or what are you hoping to improve upon? I find that the beginning of the school year is a great time to set goals for yourself and get into a routine that allows you to achieve them.

There are many different faces of back to school. You're either the student, the parent of a student, or, like me, you're entering into a new year of teaching. No matter what your role is, back to school is a time to start fresh and make things happen.

Having our own unique style gives us the confidence to boldly embrace this time of year.  You know what they say, "Dress for Success".

During our Back to School Sale, you can complete your unique look with a pair of 9mm freshwater pearl stud earrings for free with any $50 purchase. Just add them to your cart and use coupon code BACKTOSCHOOL at checkout.

I wish you all the best in the upcoming school year!

X0XO,

Cindy

Sunshine State of Mind - Seaside Pearls Video Release

Hi Friends:

Summer has always been one of my favorite seasons, because it holds some of the best family memories. Our trips to Seaside, Florida always consisted of; playing at the beach, sunset bonfires, family dinners, and soaking up as much time as possible together while putting the rest of the world on hold.

A majority of my pieces are based off of my experiences in Seaside and hold such a special place in my heart. I hope you find the perfect pieces for your summer vacation, and that you'll have a little piece of Seaside, Florida with you wherever you travel!

XO,

Cindy

How I Name my Pieces

How I Name my Pieces

Hi friends,

One of my newest pieces is called the “Arielle” choker. It is named for a child that I recently had the opportunity to teach and mentor. This dainty, stylish piece reminds me of my little friend who already takes great pride in her appearance.

Seaside Pearls is more than just jewelry, it's more than just a business, it’s how I express my love for others and an outlet for my imagination. Each of my pieces is named after and inspired by experiences, places or people who have shaped me in some way, and I hope that my designs reflect that intent. Life is all about curating a collection of beautiful things and beautiful moments that in turn remind us of the people and places we love.

I hope that you can see the individuality in all of my pieces, and that in wearing them you can create your own beautiful moments. Who knows, maybe one day I will name a piece for you!

XOXO,

Cindy

Red, White and Pearls

Red, White and Pearls

Hi Friends:

Is there anything better than spending time outside with friends and family, eating and enjoying their company? For me, Independence Day is a day to step back, remember those who fought for our freedoms, and surround myself with those I love most.

At my house, the 4th of July means laying out by the pool, cooking burgers in the backyard and watching the fireworks when the sun goes down.

Whether you are firing up the barbeque or spending the day at the lake, let us not forget the true meaning of the holiday, and give thanks to those who made our country what it is today.

XOXO,

Cindy

When you open this, I will be in Seaside

Hi Friends:

Finally! School is out and it’s time for my annual journey to the place where it all began….Seaside.  It’s a dreamy corner of the world whose white sand beaches and crystal clear water attract families from all over.  The salty air and gorgeous Southern inspired beach houses complete with wrap-around porches and swings fill my senses and inspire my creativity. It’s a place where you bike or walk rather than drive, a place where the neutral color palette is anything but boring because it serves as a backdrop to all of the colorful, happy emotions you feel when you are there.

In one way or another, all of my creations tie back to Seaside, to memory, to family, to the beauty that comes out in each of us only when we can truly relax. I love this picture of my daughter, Katie, enjoying the beauty of Seaside. Take a look at my favorite Seaside inspired pieces below, and maybe we will run into each other on the beach!

XOXO,

Cindy

Celebrating the End of an Era

Celebrating the End of an Era

Hi Friends:

Although I have watched three other children graduate from high school, it never gets easier.  This year, my fourth child will be gathering up her diploma, packing up her life and moving on to bigger and better things.

While I am thrilled for her, of course, I get choked up thinking about another baby leaving the nest.  It’s hard to let go of a full house and the daily interaction, but this girl, just like all of your graduates is going to set the world on fire!

Whether you are celebrating your own child’s graduation or helping a friend or family member celebrate theirs, be sure to mark the moment with something special.

Below are a few pieces that would make wonderful graduation gifts.  Get your gift, get out your hanky and let the graduation water works begin!

Happy Graduation!

XO,

Cindy

Remembering Nancy - Our Mother's Day Event

Remembering Nancy - Our Mother's Day Event

Hi Friends:

I like to think of Mother’s Day as more than a celebration of our mothers, but rather, it’s a celebration of all of the great women who shape and guide our lives.  My own mother, Nancy, was a full stop force of nature.  As you can see in her picture (left), she had an infectious smile and was the ultimate fun girl and master problem solver who gave me the pluck and grit necessary to pursue my dreams of designing jewelry and becoming an entrepreneur.

I lost my mother several years ago at the end of her valiant battle with cancer, but despite this loss, I still love Mother’s Day and am grateful to her and all of the other amazing women in my life who inspire me daily.

Recognize the inspiring women in your life this Mother’s Day (May 12th) with something beautiful.  Below are a few pieces from my collection that I have hand-picked and marked down for the occasion.

Happy Mother’s Day!

XO, Cindy
