This piece was inspired by a trip to Rome, Italy with my girls. I was awed by the architectural feats and artistic masterpieces they were able to accomplish without the many advances we enjoy today. Each emperor trying to out-do his predecessor and leave his legacy.
The Aurelia necklace features a pewter Roman coin replica and 12mm freshwater pearl closure in white or peacock gray (as shown). The coin is about the size of a US nickel with bail and knotted on leather cord.
